About Ruth
Founder & Principal Consultant
With over eight years in global HR — including three years focused on employee relations operations at the International Rescue Committee, a leading humanitarian organization — Ruth Tate has seen firsthand what happens when HR gets it right, and the cost when it doesn't.
At IRC, Ruth led operations within the Global Employee Relations function, working in close partnership with senior leadership to transform how the organization managed complex, cross-border workplace matters. She drove process improvements that reduced case backlogs and cut investigation timelines, and helped build capability programs that reached regional HR teams across more than 50 countries.
She founded Tate Global Advisory to bring that same rigorous, human-centered approach to mission-driven organizations everywhere.
